When We Are Closedtelephone_brown

The surgery is open from 8:00am until 6:00pm weekdays, but is normally closed at weekends and bank holidays.

Medical services outside of our normal opening hours are provided by the County Durham Clinical Commissioning Group which has doctors and emergency care nurse practitioners working at the University Hospital of North Durham.

They make home visits, give telephone advice or arrange for consultations at the Out of Hours Centre.

What to do when your GP practice is closed:

  • if it's a life-threatening emergency call 999
  • if you need medical help but its not an emergency call 111

During normal practice hours, the practice remains your first point of contact for all routine requests.
